A poem about the influence some things and people have had on my life.
You've taught me, the power
and ability to change
who you are is always
withing grasp.
That to do what is expected
and what is right are two very
different things. The choice is
yours alone to make.
That sometimes the strongest person,
calm and collected, needs a helping
hand. That maybe, just maybe, the
hero wants to be protected - just once.
Most importantly though, I've
learned from you, that acceptance
could be the greatest giift
one can give.
